Eado Runs Third-Fastest Time in School History at Paul Short Run

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Freshman Urgy Eado led the Wesley College men's cross country team at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Saturday afternoon. 

A freshman from Rockville, Md., Eado cruised to a 27:42 in the 8K to finish 55th of 225 runners in his collegiate cross country debut.  Eado's time is the third fastest in program history.

Also running well was freshman Luis Arteaga, who set a personal record with a 28:53 ranking him 8th all-time in school history.  Junior Carlton Sheppard completed the course in 29:16, shaving three seconds off his personal record and he now sits 10th in Wesley annals.

Rounding out the top five for the Wolverines were sophomore Darryl Burks (31:23) and freshman Jeff Koletsky (31:30) while Adeola James (31:48) and Ben Miller (34:18) finished just behind.

The Wolverines return to action on Friday, October 17 for the DSU Invtational II at 4 pm.
