Cross Country Competes at PAC Championships
DALLAS, Pa. - The Wesley College men and women's cross country teams competed at the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Cross Country Championship, hosted by College Misericordia on Saturday afternoon.  The Wesley men's team finished 4th overall, while the women finished 9th overall.  Colin Campo (JR, Thibodaux, LA/Thibodaux) placed 13th overall for the men posting a time of 30:44 and Joleen Schilling (JR, Delmar, DE/Delmar) was also 13th place earning them both 2nd Team All-Conference selections.  Jason Duncan (SR, Clayton, DE/Polytech) placed 19th with a time of 33:02 on the men's side.  Teddy Bobola (FR, Dover, DE/Lake Forest) finished in 22nd place and Andre Zagmout (SR, Morocco/American School of Paris) finished in 26th place to round out the men.

Schilling posted a time of 23:17 for her 13th place finish on the day.  Ashley Merget (FR, Wilmington, DE/Concord) and Lauren Duncan (JR, Philadelphia, PA/International Christian) finished in 43rd and 48th place respectively.

Wesley Runs at Goldey-Beacom Invitational
WILMINGTON, De. - The Wesley College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Goldey-Beacom Cross Country Invitation with the men placing in 14th place and the women finishing in 13th place.  The men were led by Teddy Bobola (FR, Dover, DE/Lake Forest) placing in 26th place overall with a time of 29:41 and Colin Campo (JR, Thibodaux, LA/Thibodaux) finishing in 29th place with a time of 29:55.

On the women's side, Joleen Schilling (JR, Delmar, DE/Delmar) placed 40th overall with a time of 23:32 and Ashley Merget (FR, Wilmington, DE/Concord) finishing in 63rd place with a time of 25:10.

Cross Country Runs at Tidewater Classic
SALISBURY, Md. - The Wesley College men's and women's cross country teams ran at the Tidewater Classic finishing in 10th place for the men and 14th place for the women, on Saturday morning at Salisbury University.  The men placed 10th out of 12 teams scoring a team total of 270, while the women finished 14th out of 14 teams with a team total of 410.  Leading the way for the men were Colin Campo (JR, Thibodaux, LA/Thibodaux) (36th place) with a time of 28:20 and Ted Bobola (FR, Dover, DE/Lake Forest) (38th place) with a time of 28:33.

On the women's side Joleen Schilling (JR, Delmar, DE/Delmar) (68th place) was the top women's finisher with a time of 26:17 and Ashley Merget (FR, Wilmington, DE/Concord) (100th place) had a time of 28:31.

Wesley Runs to a Pair of 9th Place Finishes
WILMINGTON, De. - The Wesley College men's and women's cross country teams both finished in 9th place as they competed in the Wilmington College Invitational, hosted by Wilmington College on Saturday afternoon.  Teddy Bobola (FR, Dover, DE/Lake Forest) was the men's top finisher, placing 27th overall with a time of 30:58.  Joleen Schilling (JR, Delmar, DE/Delmar) placed just outside of the top-20, finishing in 23rd place with a time of 22:58.

Cross Country Runs at Dukes Invitational
CUMBERLAND, Nj. - The Wesley College men's and women's cross country teams finished 2nd and 4th place respectively at the Dukes Invitational, in cross country action on Saturday morning.  On the men's side Andre Zagmout and Colin Campo finished in 6th and 7th place with times of 30:59 and 31:19, while Teddy Bobola finished in 9th place with a time of 31:43.

Joleen Schilling finished in 7th for the women with a time of 24:01 and Ashley Merget placed 9th overall with a time of 25:11.  Jacky Allman finished in 14th place with a time of 26:55.

Men and Women's Cross Country Both Place 10th
SALISBURY, Md. - The Wesley College men and women's cross country teams traveled to Salisbury, MD for the Sea Gull Opener as both teams placed 10th overall.  On the men's side, Colin Campo finished in 73rd with a time of 29:42 and Ted Bobola was 76th overall with a time of 29:49.  Andre Zagmout had a time of 31:15 for 88th overall.

Joleen Schilling placed in 64th place with a time of 28:10 for the women as Ashley Merget was 68th with a time of 28:53.  Jacky Allman was 74th overall with a time of 29:47.

Men's Cross Country Preview
DOVER, De. - The Wesley College men's and women's cross country teams will open up their 2006 season on Saturday, September 2nd at the Sea Gull Opener in Salisbury, MD.  On the men's side, the Wolverines return their top runner, junior Jeff Nickels, who was 19th in the 2005 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships.  Wesley has added local product Teddy Bobola, an All-State runner to the roster.  Head Coach Steve Pickering enters his seventh season and expects the biggest impact to come from sophomore Colin Campo, a transfer from NCAA Division I Nicholls State.  Campo has run five miles in less than 28 minutes.  The Wolverines placed sixth in last year's PAC Championships, but with the new additions Wesley is looking to make a run at the 2006 PAC title.  The men have been picked to finish in 6th place in the preseason PAC coaches poll.
