SALISBURY, Md. – Wesley College's softball team was swept by No. 20 Salisbury University in Capital Athletic Conference play on Wednesday afternoon.  The Wolverines fall to 13-16-1 overall and 1-9 in the CAC.

The Sea Gulls (27-5, 10-0 CAC) took the opener, 15-0, behind a no-hitter by Erika Brittingham.  Wesley made seven errors and only three runs were earned by pitchers Nicole Piscopo, Meghan McGonigle and Taylor Hendricks.

Five defensive errors by the Wolverines allowed Salisbury to win game two, 8-0.  Jessica Barranco collected the lone hit for Wesley.

The Wolverines close out CAC play when they host Stevenson University in a 1:00 pm doubleheader on Saturday, April 14.  The conference finale marks the final home regular season games for seniors Nikki Barton and Ashlyn Booth.
