Booth Named To All-ECAC Team
CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Senior Ashlyn Booth has been named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) All-Star Team, the organization announced on Tuesday afternoon. A first team selection at utility player, Booth earlier became the first Wolverine to garner NFCA All-Region honors since Jessica Morgan in the 2007 season.
A native of Laurel, Del., Booth led Wesley College (15-20-1) to one of the largest turnarounds in the NCAA this year while slugging a team-high nine home runs and 38 RBIs in 2012. She also hit .396 on the season with a .739 slugging percentage and .472 on-base percentage.
In her two seasons with the Navy & White, Booth accumulated a .388 average with 11 home runs and 55 RBIs to go with 17 doubles and two triples. She also slugged .683 and tallied a .484 on-base percentage while being named First Team All-CAC both years.
