FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) announced the All-CAC softball teams on Tuesday with Wesley College represented by junior third baseman Ashley Royer and sophomore utility player Brandi Dalious on the first team.
An All-CAC Second Team member in 2017, Royer ranked fourth in the CAC in hitting and on-base percentage. Royer tallied a .446 batting average and reached base on a .486 on-base percentage. She recorded two home runs with 21 runs batted in, 25 runs scored, 10 runs scored and one triple.
In her first season in a Wesley uniform, Dalious notched a .759 slugging percentage, third-best in the CAC. Dalious also tied for eighth in the CAC in home runs (6) and ninth in batting average (.405). Half of Dalious' 32 hits were extra-base hits, drove in 29 runs and scored 17 times.
