Myrtle Beach, S.C. - The Wesley College Softbal team kicked off spring break down in Myrtle Beach with a win over Hilbert. Jessica Anderson didn't allow a single run as Wesley softball defeated Hilbert 8-0 on Sunday in their first game on spring break in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Anderson allowed just three hits through five innings. Anderson earned the victory on the rubber, as she went five innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out 12 and walking one.
Julianna Ceron led the team to victory by driving in four runs. She went 3-for-3 at the plate. Ceron drove in runs on a single in the second and a triple in the fifth. Amanda Curry's sac fly scored one run in the first inning. Wesley notched three runs in the fifth inning. Ceron had an RBI triple in the inning to lead the run scoring.
The Wolverines sure handed in the field and didn't commit a single error.
The Wolverines will face Muhlenberg tomorrow, March 2nd at 1:30 P.M. and then St. Elizabeth at 3:30 P.M.
