Wesley bats blast 7 home runs in day one sweep of Immaculata
The Wesley softball team headed north to the Atlantic East conference opener on Friday. In game one Dori Loukopoulos got the ball, in four innings of work she limited Immaculata to 5 hits and struck out 7. Abbey Mayse came in to close the game with in three up three down fashion. On the offensive side of the ball the team accumulated 14 total hits, 3 home runs one each off Ariana Mirenda, Amanda Curry and Kylie Nagle. Nagle also lead the way with a 4 rbi game.
 
Game two was much of the same as the bats heated up contributing 19 hits led by Gab Monzo who slugged back to back homers, Amanda Curry blasting her second of the day and Miranda Kinney banging out her first of the season. Monzo contributed 6 rbis in the game. Shanyn Burch and Abbey Mayse combined for a two hit win in the circle. Gab Monzo finished the day going 7-7 at the plate. The Wolverines return to action for senior day tomorrow with the second set of double headers against the Immaculata Might Macs.
