Softball team splits with Immaculata on Senior day
The Wesley Softball team took their third game in a row vs. Immaculata in run rule fashion. Immaculata struck first in the 4th inning with a 2-0 lead before the Wolverines plated 11 runs in the inning off doubles by Kylie Nagle, Dori Loukopoulos, Miranda Kinney and Kaitlin Delaney. Loukopoulos had the ball in the circle for the Wolverines giving up only three runs while striking out five.

Game two saw the majority of the Wolverine bats quite for the first time all weekend. This was not the case for Gab Monzo who was 3-5 on the day with a walk. Abbey Mayse worked middle innings of the game shutting down the mighty macs bats until the the sixth inning. The final score of that game was 0-6 in favor of Immaculata.

Prior to the start of today's games the 2021 senior class was honored. Those seniors are: Bianca Newsom, Abbey Mayse, Amanda Curry, Miranda Kinney and Dori Loukopoulos.

The Wolverines return to action next Friday in a home double header against the Neumann Knights. This will be their first meeting since the championship game of the 2019 Atlantic East Conference.
