Women's Basketball Falls to Marymount

DOVER, Del. -- The Wesley College women's basketball team shot 45. 8% from the field and 80% from the line but fell to Marymount, 66-55 at Wentworth Gym on Wednesday evening in their second match up of the season. The Wolverines now stand at 4-14 overall, 1-8 in the CAC while the Saints improve to 12-6 overall, 8-2 in league play.

The Wolverines played well at home with Tiara White recording a double-double, Roniece Williams bringing in 13 points while Nicole Evanko downed three three's and Haley Thomas added two more.

Not to be outdone, Marymount senior, Katelyn Fischer, scored a game high 27 points with 15 of those points coming from outside the arc.

The Wolverines return to the court on Saturday, February 1 at 1:00PM when they face the Frostburg State Bobcats at Wentworth Gym.
