Johnson, a native of Smyrna, Del., was selected to the All-CAC Second Team to earn her third consecutive All-Conference nod. The forward was a First Team selection in 2015 and a Second Team selection as well as Rookie of the Year in 2014.
Brionna Johnson averaged 12.9 points per game, good for eighth among all CAC players. The forward led the conference in rebounding, averaging 10.5 boards per game this season. Earlier in the season, Johnson eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau for her career.
The junior forward will return to Wesley next year, along with all but one from the 2015-16 roster. The Wolverines will be poised to make a run at their first CAC Tournament appearance since the 2010-11 season.
