Johnson paces Wesley against Marymount

ARLINGTON, Va.- The Wesley College women's basketball team fell to the Marymount Saints on the road, 63-49 in a Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) game Saturday afternoon.

Coming off the bench, senior Brionna Johnson led the Wolverines with 14 points, four rebounds and three steals. Fellow senior Adriane Fraser also recorded double figures, netting 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting, including going perfect from three-point range (2-2) and free-throw line (2-2)

Junior Alexus Stroud also came off the bench to contribute with eight points. Freshman Paige Hailstock ended up with seven points for the Wolverines, knocking down two three-pointers in the loss.

Nicole Viscuso paced the Saints with 12 points.

The Wolverines (7-14, 3-11 CAC) will be back in action Wednesday, Feb. 8 when they host the York Spartans in conference matchup. Tip off from the Wentworth Gymnasium is at 6 p.m.
