Binkley, O’Neale set career-highs against Rosemont

BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Wesley College women's basketball team dropped a non-conference road matchup to the Rosemont Ravens, 69-53 on Wednesday.

The Wolverines were led by the effort of Stacey O'Neale, who tallied 19 points to set a new career-high. She went 7-of-16 from the field, knocking down five shots from three-point range. O'Neale also reeled in four rebounds. 

Monshea Newsome-Murray dished out 10 assists, netted eight points, grabbed seven rebounds and stole the ball six times for the Wolverines. 

Maura Binkley pulled down a team-high nine rebounds to also set a career-high.

Shelby Johnson recorded six rebounds and six points while Tiyanna Gibbs collected five points, five rebounds, four steals and two assists.  

Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter would lead all scorers with 27 points for the Ravens.

The Wolverines are back in action Saturday, Dec. 16 when they square off with Division I opponent, the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore Hawks. Tip-off from Hytche Arena is set for 2 p.m.
