Women’s basketball falls on the road to No. 23 Marymount

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Wesley College women's basketball team were upended on the road, 82-53, in conference action by the 23rd-ranked Marymount Saints on Wednesday.

Stacey O'Neale paced the Wesley offense with 18 points. O'Neale knocked down six three-pointers. 

Shelby Johnson tallied 14 points and seven rebounds. Johnson was 6-for-9 from the field. Tiyanna Gibbs notched 11 points and four rebounds. Monshea Newsome-Murray chipped in with six points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals.

Nicole Viscuso had 23 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals to lead Marymount.

The Wolverines will return to action on Saturday at 1 p.m. when they host the Mary Washington Eagles. Prior to the game, the Wolverines will honor their three graduating seniors.
