Angelique Gathers led the Wolverines for the second game in a row with 11 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Gathers also went 3-for-4 from the free throw line.
The Women’s Basketball team capped off their travel weekend on Sunday with a 63-41 win against Lehman. Angelique Gathers received the All-Tournament honor after leading the team with 18 points, 6-for-11 from the field, 4-for-8 from behind the arc and 2-for-2 free throws. Gathers also tallied five steals and five rebounds.
Women’s Basketball continued their season in day one of the Pride. Spirit. Honor. Tournament hosted by PSU-Harrisburg. The Wolverines faced Delaware Valley in game one and through a hard fought game, fell short 48-69.
The Woman's Basketball team traveled to the University of Mary Washington for the two day Hyatt Place Tipoff Tournament. Friday evening, they took on the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins and though they came back strong in the second half, the team fell short of the win 46-69.
