Women's Basketball Takes Game two of the Hyatt Place Tipoff Tournament, 53-35

Fredericksburg, VA. – The Wesley Women's Basketball team continued their weekend as they took on Lehman in day two of the Hyatt Place Tipoff Tournament and came out with their first win of the season, 53-35.

Lekeshia Brown-Myrick  who received the All-Tournament honor, led the Wolverines to their first win of the 2019-20 season tallying 14 points, three rebounds and three steals. Bianca Newsom added eight points and racked up five steals and four assists. Megan Shacklock contributed eight points. 

Also adding to the win were Katelyn Watson, Angelique Gathers, and ShaVohnia Tolson with six points each.

Gathers also hauled in 10 rebounds, followed by Tolson with eight.

The Wolverines look to play Delaware Valley in the first game of the Pride. Spirit. Honor Tournament weekend hosted by PSU-Harrisburg. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23rd.
