Dover, Del. - The Women's Basketball team opened conference play Wednesday night against Marymount. They suffered their largest defeat of the season, 88-28.

Wesley's hopes for a close game were kept out of reach early on by Marymount's 53 points in the first half while Wesley responded with just nine. The Wolverines' 25 turnovers proved to be a significant factor in the loss.

Bianca Newsom led the team in points with seven, while Megan Shacklock put up five defensive rebounds. Zariyah Jackson and Shervohnia Tolson both accumulated five points each as the team shot 24.3 percent from field goal range.

The Wolverines will travel to Aston, Pennsylvania to play against the Neumann Knights on January 11th at 1:00 p.m.
