Women's Basketball Stumbles at Immaculata 

Immaculata, Pa. - The Wesley Women's Basketball team (5-9, 0-3) continued their road games as they traveled up to Immaculata (8-7, 2-0) on Wednesday, Jan. 15th. The Wolverines fell to the Mighty Macs 40-70. 

Leading the way for Wesley was SherVohnia Tolson and Jourdyn Beverly, who put up 11 points each. Tolson also tallied 11 rebounds. Angelique Gathers added eight rebounds and five points in the loss. 

The Wolverines trailed the Mighty Macs 12-18 at the end of the first quarter but a fast layup to start the second by Immaculata's Theresa Kearney, put the Mighty Macs up 20-12. Wesley put up nine more points but that was not enough as the Mighty Macs went into the half leading 35-21. 

The Wolverines continued to fight and put up 19 more points but that was not enough as Immaculata put up 35 to take the win.

The Wolverines return home to Wentworth Gym on Saturday, Jan. 18th as they take on the Marywood Pacers at 1:00 p.m.
