Radnor, Pa. – The Wesley Women's Basketball team suffered their fifth loss in a row on Saturday against the Cabrini Cavaliers. The final score was 98-43, a gut-wrenching deficit for the Wolverines.
The first quarter started with Cabrini scoring 17 unanswered points until Wesley finally got the offense going on Katelyn Watson's layup with 3:21 left. The only other points in the quarter came from Lekeisha Brown-Myrick's two free throws which brought the score to 25-4.
Wesley's offense continued to lag behind Cabrini in the second quarter, only scoring 10 more points opposed to the Cavaliers' 24. Going into the half, Wesley trailed 52-14.
Cabrini's Meghan Matthews delivered the layup that got Wesley's defense going in the start of the third quarter.
