Wesley College's Angie Owens was named to the D3hoops.com All-Atlantic Region third team after leading the Wolverines to the championship game of the ECAC South Tournament.

Wesley College's Colleen Thomas broke the Wolverines' single season record for made threes, but Wesley was bested by Juniata in the ECAC South Championship game, 72-52.

Colleen Thomas became the seventh player in school history to score at least 1,000 career points as Wesley College topped Manhattanville 70-66 in the semifinals of the ECAC South Championship Tournament.

Angie Owens had 17 points, 17 rebounds, six blocks and four steals as Wesley College advanced to the semifinals with a win over Gwynned-Mercy in the ECAC South Championship Tournament.

Wesley College's Angie Owens was named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) first team, while teammate Cory Boyd was named to the second team in voting by the conference coaches.

The Wesley College women's basketball team has been awarded a berth to the 2009 ECAC South Women's Basketball Championships and will travel to Gwynned-Mercy on Wednesday, March 4 at 7:00 PM.
