Records Fall in 2009

The Wesley College women's lacrosse team set or tied 14 school records during the 2009 campaign. Among the highlights:
- Wesley set a team record with 183 goals scored on the season
- The Wolverines 247 points were also the most in school history
- The defense posted a pair of shutouts, tying a season record
- Jade Martin (Cape May, N.J./Lower Cape May Regional) set a school record with 167 career points
- Leslie Cervenka (Newtown, Pa./Pennsbury) broke the Wolverines' career assist record with 56 and tied her own single game record with five.
- Martin also finished her career with more draw controls (129), free position goals (30)
- Brooke Bennett (Milton, Del./Cape Henlopen) tied single game marks with 11 ground balls and eight caused turnovers
- The Wolverines set a single game record with 22 goals in a win over Savannah College of Art & Design
- Wesley had six free position goals in one game to tie a school record
- The Wolverines set a season record with 187 draw controls
- The squad's 32 free position scores set a new program standard
