YORK, Pa. - Wesley College's Brooke Bennett (Milton, Del./Sussex Tech) was named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference Second Team in voting conducted by the conference coaches.
A senior defender, Bennett earns a spot on the second team for the third straight season and the fourth all-conference honor of her career. She was named All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference as a freshman before the Wolverines switched conferences.
In 2010, Bennett started all 16 games for Wesley and tallied a career high 13 goals to go along with three assists for 16 points. She led the CAC with 64 ground balls and finished second with 34 caused turnovers, both of which led the team.
She helped lead Wesley to eight wins, the second most in program history. Bennett also finishes her career as the Wolverines all-time leader in ground balls with 227 and is second all-time with 146 caused turnovers.
