DOVER, Del. - Wesley trailed just 7-5 early, but a run to end the half helped No. 18 UMW pull away for a 26-9 win.
The Eagles, however, scored six unanswered goals over the remainder of the half to build a 13-5 lead.
In the second half, UMW chose not to slow the pace, matching their output from the first half, including three goals in the final minute and a half.
Prudente paced Wesley with four goals in the game. Brocco added three goals and an assist, along with three ground balls and three draw controls.
Nina Cornog (Wilmington, Del./Concord) had five ground balls and five draw controls.
The Wolverines look to get back in the win column on March 19 with a road trip to Shenandoah.
