DOVER, Del. - Mt. St. Vincent got eight goals and an assist from Nicole Flores as the Dolphins spoiled Wesley College's Senior Day, 17-16.

Prior to the game, the Wolverines (6-10) honored seniors Farryn Kauffman (Havertown, Pa./Haverford), Sarah Johnson (Honeybrook, Pa./Twin Valley) and Katelyn Randes (Odenton, Md./Arundel).

Wesley scored the game's first four goals, but Mt. St. Vincent (5-5) cut the lead to 10-8 at the half.

The Wolverines still led 13-11 after a goal by Alyssa Prudente (Hereford, Md./Hereford) with 18:50 to play in the game, but a 4-0 Dolphin run that featured two goals each by Flores and Jessie Mitchell snuffed the Wesley lead.

Back-to-back scores by Jen Jacobs (Aberdeen, Md./Aberdeen) and Randes tied the game with just under six minutes to play at 15-15.

The tie lasted barely 30 seconds, however, as Flores put Mt. St. Vincent back in the lead with 5:26 to go.

Mia Paltrineri (Middletown, Del./Middletown) scored just under the two minute mark to knot the game once again, this time at 16 all.  The Wolverines won the ensuing draw control, but turned the ball over and Flores' eighth and final goal proved to be the game winner with 1:06 left.

Alyssa Batty (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks West) made 21 saves in goal for the Wolverines.

Jacobs led the team with five goal.  Mia Brocco (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) and Prudente each had five points, as well.  Brocco scored four times, had one assist and added eight ground balls.  Prudente scored three goals and assisted on two more.
