DOVER, Del. - Goalkeeper Alyssa Batty is currently leading all of NCAA Division III in total saves, the NCAA announced in their latest weekly rankings on Monday. A native of Chalfont, Pa., Batty currently has 136 saves on the season.
The junior netminder also ranks among the nation's best in saves per game and save percentage. Through games on March 25, 2012, Batty ranked seventh nationally with 14.0 saves per game and 21st with a 51.7% save percentage.
Batty isn't the only Wolverine placing high among the nation's leaders as senior Alyssa Prudente ranks third in total points (65), fifth in assists (26) and ninth in goals (39).
Wesley (4-6, 0-4 CAC) returns to the pitch on Wednesday, March 28, when it travels to No. 19 Stevenson University for a 3:00 pm CAC matchup.
