Women’s Lacrosse Drops CAC Matchup at St. Mary’s

ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – Wesley College's women's lacrosse team fell at St. Mary's, 19-0, in Capital Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon.  The Wolverines fall to 4-7 overall and 0-4 in the CAC while the Seahawks improve to 10-2 on the year and 4-0 in league play.

St. Mary's scored 13 goals in the first half and six more in the second with the game-winner coming 1:27 into the contest. 

Savannah Clough stopped three shots for Wesley who got two ground balls by Kaitlyn Ennis, two draw controls by Kaitlin Brennan and a pair of caused turnovers by Jessica Giaccone.

Christy Bishop tallied five goals for the Seahawks.

The Wolverines travel to Marymount for a CAC matchup on Wednesday, April 8 at 7 pm.
