Clough Named CAC Defensive Player of the Week

YORK, Pa. - After helping the Wesley College Women's Lacrosse team to a 15-11 victory over Randolph College in their only game of the week, goalkeeper Savannah Clough was named Capital Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

The sophomore was named Defensive Player of the Week after making 18 saves in the Wolverines' four-goal victory over Randolph last Saturday. Clough registered a 62.1% save percentage and also recorded a caused turnover and three ground balls to give the team their first win of the year.

Wesley returns to action on Wednesday when they play host to Misericordia University in another non-conference tilt.
