YORK, Pa. - The Wesley College Women's Lacrosse team struggled against one of the top ranked team in the nation on Saturday, falling 18-0 to fourth-ranked York in a Capital Athletic Conference clash.
Rodneisha Scott recorded a ground ball, a caused turnover and a shot on goal. Bailey Olds snagged a shot on goal while Foley Wassmuth and Brianna Bacon led the team with a pair of draw controls each. Naomi Reynolds finished with a draw control, and Savannah Clough made three saves and scooped a team-high three ground balls.
Wesley was outshot 36-3 as York controlled the pace of the game. The Spartans were a perfect 10-for-10 on clear attempts, and committed just six turnovers in the game.
The Wolverines move to 2-5 on the season with an 0-2 mark in the CAC. The squad will look to regroup and come out strong on Thursday, March 24 when they play host to Bard in a non-conference tilt.
