Wesley rolls Bryn Mawr, 16-2

BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Wesley College women's lacrosse team cruised to a 16-2 win over the Bryn Mawr Owls on Monday for their fourth consecutive victory to start the season.

With their fourth straight win, the Wolverine set a new mark for best start to a season in program history.

The Wolverine offense was paced by Fallon Fore, who netted a game-high six goals. Fore also tallied three draw controls and two ground balls.

Brianna Bacon and Maddison Cypher collected four and three goals respectively. Cypher also recorded three assists and three ground balls. Bacon added an assist along with three ground balls and three draw controls.

Paige Brehm put away two goals, controlled five draws and three ground balls for the Wolverines. Kathleen Martin also chipped in with a second-half goal while Francesca Benitez scooped up three ground balls in the win.

The Wolverine defense only allowed six shots by the Owls. Shelby Schirmer stopped four of the six shots she faced in net for the Wolverines.

The Wolverines (4-0) will look to continue their forward momentum on Wednesday, March 8 when they travel to Hackettstown, N.J. to take on the Centenary Cyclones. The game is scheduled to start at noon.
