Wolverines fall to No. 7 Spartans

DOVER, Del. – Fallon Fore netted the lone tally for the Wesley College women's lacrosse team as they fell to the seventh-ranked York (Pa.) Spartans 18-1 on Wednesday in a Capital Athletic Conference contest.

Brianna Bacon caused the turnover in the midfield with seven minutes to go in regulation and threw it to Fore, who converted the Wesley marker.

Schirmer stopped six shots in goal.

Katelyn Cattrano scored twice and had four assists for York.

The Wolverines will be back in action on Saturday when they host the Christopher Newport Captains at 2 p.m. The game will be part of the two-day Dave Reynolds Lacrosse Festival that starts on Friday.
