Wesley celebrates Senior Night against Marymount

DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College women's lacrosse team dropped a 17-2 decision to the Marymount (Va.) Saints Wednesday night in Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) action at Drass Field.

Paige Brehm scored both of Wesley's goals in the second half. Naomi Pitts-Reynolds caused three turnovers and picked up three ground balls while Brehm, Taylor Speicher and Shelby Schirmer each caused two Marymount turnovers.

Schirmer made eight stops in goal for Wesley.

Jessica Crew scored seven goals and added an assist for Marymount.

Before the game, Wesley honored Ashley Luna, Allison Perugini and Kaitlin Brennan for Senior Night.

The Wolverines will wrap up the 2017 season on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Buena Vista, Va. when they take on the Southern Virginia Knights.
