Women’s Lacrosse Drops CAC Opener to third-ranked Salisbury

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College women's lacrosse team dropped their Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) opener to the third-ranked Salisbury Sea Gulls, 20-4 on Tuesday.

Wesley's offensive effort was led by Fallon Fore, who netted a pair of goals. Paige Brehm and Bailey Grey each put the ball behind the net to account for Wesley's other two goals.

Shelby Schirmer tallied nine saves and two ground balls in net.

Emma Skoglund, Lydia McNulty and Taylor Poore each scored hat tricks for Salisbury.

The Wolverines (5-2, 0-1 CAC) are back in action this Saturday, March 31 when they host the Mary Washington Eagles. Opening draw of the CAC matchup is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
