No. 9 York downs Women’s Lacrosse

YORK, Pa. – The Wesley College women's lacrosse team fell on the road, 20-1 to the No. 9 York Spartans on Wednesday in Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) action.

Fallon Fore netted her 37th goal of the season in the first half on a feed from Paige Brehm. Fore tallied two draw controls while Brehm collected a ground ball and a draw control.

Tiaziah Wright tallied three draw controls and caused a turnover. Taylor Speicher scooped up two ground balls while Brianna Bacon registered a caused turnover.

Shelby Schirmer saved six shots in goal and picked up two ground balls.

Caitlin Rankin had four goals for York.

The Wolverines will be back in action on Sunday when they take on the Frostburg St. Bobcats on the road. The CAC contest is set for noon.
