Wesley Lacrosse advances to 2-0 After Defeating PSU-Abington, 20-3

Dover, Del. - The Wesley Women's Lacrosse team advances to 2-0 overall after defeating PSU-Abington 20-3. 

Hanna Giaccone came out strong for her first start this season, with five goals off only six shots. Kaila Hindt and Catherine Bennett combined for six goals to help the Wolverines earn their second win of the season. 

Wesley got out to a seven to one lead with 15:24 left in the first half. Six more goals would secure a running clock going into the second half as Wesley led by more than ten goals.

The second half, that lead grew to 17-2 as Wesley's defense was too much for PSU-Abington. PSU had 10 shots to Wesley's 28 while Wesley made 10-of-12 clear attempts and PSU made 9-of-18.

The Wolverines travel to Wilkes on Thursday, March 5th. Draw is scheduled for 5PM.
