Win Streak Extended to 4-0 for Wesley Women's Lacrosse after Defeating Keystone, 16-5

La Plume, Pa. – The Wesley Women's Lacrosse team extended their win streak to four Saturday afternoon after defeating the Keystone Giants, 16-5.

The Wolverines (4-0) would be the first to get on the board in the contest, scoring within the first three minutes of play. Kaila Hindt would make back to back goals before the Giants would score two consecutive goals of their own, 3-2. 

Four straight goals by the Wolverines would increase their lead to 7-2 with 17:43 left to play in the first half. The Giants answered back immediately with two more goals before Kassie Dieter notched two of her own, first unassisted, then assisted by Lindsey Lurz. Scoring would end for Keystone after Savanna Robinson took it to the back of the net at the seven-minute mark. 

The Wolverines went into the half leading 10-5.

The second half of the game, Wesley continued to dominate Keystone, scoring six goals, grabbing 13 ground balls to Keystones eight and winning six draw controls to the Giants one.  

Hanna Giaccone and Kassie Dieter led the Wolverines in scoring today both netting five goals each. 

Emily Caldarelli, who leads the conference in caused turnovers caused a game high six today. Lindsey Lurz tallied a game high six assists in the win.

Next up, the Wolverines welcome Manhattanville, March 11th for a 1:00 P.M. draw.
