DOVER, Del. - Gina Orrben scored twice and the Wolverines tallied three goals in the opening 13:09 in a 4-0 win over visiting Marymount (Va.) in Capital Athletic Conference women's soccer action.
Orrben struck first for Wesley (4-5, 2-4 CAC) with her fifth goal of the season, just 1:33 in. Katie Chiolan tapped a lead from Jessica DeTore past the Marymount (2-8-1, 0-3 CAC) keeper just over a minute later at 1:55 for a 2-0 lead.
Orrben, whose first goal made her just the fifth player in school history with 20 career markers, scored her sixth of 2008 at 13:09 for the Wolverines third and final goal of the first half.
The Wolverines final score of the game came in the 64th minute, when Kelsey Poulsen hit a booming, high-arcing shot from 38 yards that went over the goalkeeper's head and into the net. It was her third score of the season.
Kim Fearnbach made six saves for Wesley, who snapped a four-match skid with the victory.
The Saints used a pair of keepers. Sara Horne made four saves, but surrendered all four goals in the first 64:55 of the match. Carrie Schneider finished the contest making two stops.
Wesley is back in action on Saturday, October with a road match against Stevenson at 2:30 PM.
