DOVER, Del. - Wesley College's Katie Chiolan scored four goals and added two assists to lead the Wolverines to a 9-0 win over visiting Notre Dame (Md.) in non-conference action.
Her 10 points established a new season-high for Capital Athletic Conference players in 2008.
The senior from Willingboro, New Jersey had a hand in each of Wesley's (5-7) first five goals. She scored the game-winner at 4:36 and added her second of the game at 10:59. After assisting on a Gina Orrben goal, Chiolan scored back-to-back goals at 17:17 and 22:13.
Jessie Nino tallied her first goal of the season and Anne Trecolis' first career score sent the Wolverines into the locker room ahead 7-0.
Wesley finished the scoring in the second half with goals from Kelsey Poulsen and Nicole Evans.
Orrben had a goal and two assists in the contest.
Jessica DeTore and Amanda Horkey also had assists.
Kim Fearnbach stopped three shots for her fourth shutout on the year.
Amanda McKenney and Ashleigh Johnson split time in net for the Gators (3-8). Johnson made 15 saves over the final 72:17.
The scoring barrage helped Chiolan, Orrben and Nino all creep up the all-time scoring list at Wesley. Chiolan moved into the top 15 with 25 career points and also moved into the top 20 in both goals and assists. Nino is now tied for eighth with 42 career points.
Orrben, meanwhile, became just the sixth player in program history to top the 50 point plateau and now has 51 career points.
Wesley travels to Richard Stockton on Saturday, October 11 for a 1:00 PM start time.
