Kahan Wins CAC Player of the Week

YORK, Pa. - Wesley College junior goalkeeper Sydney Kahan (Cranston, R.I./Cranston) was named the Capital Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 19.

Kahan registered a pair of shutouts last week, totaling 12 saves on 19 shots on goal, as the Wolverines extended their win streak to three matches and improved to 5-1 overall, it's best start since 2007. Kahan's 1-0 midweek decision at Marymount was Wesley's first CAC shutout victory and first conference road win since 2009. 

She is the first Wolverine to win a CAC weekly honor since November 2, 2009.

Kahan and the rest of the Wolverines will look for their fourth straight victory when they play Neumann on September 21.
