Kahan Earns ECAC South Accolades

CAPE COD, Mass. - Wesley College junior Sydney Kahan (Cranston, R.I./Cranston) added another honor after her strong performance last week when she was named the ECAC Division III South Defensive Player of the Week. 

Kahan led the Wolverines to two shutout victories and a 2-0 record for the week after beating Marymount University, 1-0, and Goucher College, 1-0. The Wolverines improve to 5-1 overall, their best start since the 2007 season.  The third year starter made 12 total saves in the two victories.

The Wolverines will look for their fourth straight victory when they play at Neumann on September 21.
