ASTON, Pa. - Neumann's Ashley Hawkins scored twice in the first half as Wesley College's three-match win streak came to a halt against the Knights in a 3-1 final on the road.

Hawkins scored in the 26th and 32nd minute to put Neumann up 2-0 at the half.

Kelly Edmunds (Dennisville, N.J./Middle Twp.) scored off a throw in by Chelsi Biener (Newfield, N.J./Delsea Regional) in the 55th minute to cut the Knights' lead in half, but a goal by Allie MacNeill in the 86th put the game out of reach.

Sydney Kahan (Cranston, R.I./Cranston) stopped six shots for the Wolverines, while Briana King made just one save for Neumann. 

The Wolverines look to get back into the win column on September 23 with a road game at Valley Forge Christian College.
