DOVER, Del. – Goals by Chelsi Biener and Karysa Pikoulas led Wesley College's women's soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Rutgers-Camden in a waterlogged matchup on Wednesday night at Scott D. Miller Stadium.  With the victory, the Wolverines improve to 3-0-1 on the season, its best start since the 2003 season where the Navy & White won their first six games.

Biener's team-high third goal of the season was the game-winner and came in the match's 29th minute.  A ball was played to the front of the box on the right hash and after a few deflections, the native of Newfield, N.J., fired a ground shot into the lower left corner to put Wesley on top.

With just over three minutes left in the first half, Kelly Edmunds found Pikoulas for an easy score as Edmunds secured a loose ball and led Pikoulas perfectly for a breakaway opportunity.

Sydney Kahan recorded her third shutout of the season, making three saves in 90 minutes of action.  The Wolverines outshot the Scarlet Raptors on the night.

Wesley returns to action this weekend when they travel to Gwynedd Valley, Pa. for the Gwynedd-Mercy Tournament.  The Wolverines will first take on the host Griffins on Saturday, September 8, at 12 pm, before a 10:00 am showdown against Delaware Valley the following day.
