GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – Wesley College's women's soccer team outshot Delaware Valley, but was unable to pull off a win as the Aggies defeated the Wolverines, 2-1, in overtime on Sunday morning.  Wesley falls to 3-2-1 with the loss while Delaware Valley evens its record at 2-2.

After the Aggies took a 1-0 lead just under a minute into the second half, Kerri Pagels delivered with the equalizer with a 25-yard blast in the 75th minute.

Neither team was able to score in the final 15 minutes of regulation as the Wolverines held a 17-7 shot advantage through 90 minutes of play.

The Aggies took the only shot of the overtime period and that was all they needed as Chelsea Neves-Carr found the back of the net at 92:58.

Sydney Kahan made four saves for Wesley while Julie Burnell stopped nine shots for Delaware Valley.

Kelly Edmunds, Morgan Warrington and Pagels were all named to the Griffin Classic All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the match.
