Women’s Soccer Falls To St. Mary’s

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College women's soccer team fell to St. Mary's 4-1 on Saturday afternoon at Scott D. Miller Stadium. The Wolverines fall to 5-4-1 overall and 1-1 in the Capital Athletic Conference while the Seahawks move to 3-3-1 with an identical record in the CAC.

Liz Mosher scored three first half goals for the Seahawks, with her second score in the 40th minute the game-winner.

Chelsi Biener scored on a penalty kick in the 63rd minute for Wesley's lone goal of the game as they were outshot, 18-4.  Sydney Kahan made five saves for the Wolverines.

Wesley is back on the road next weekend when it travels to Mary Washington for a 1 pm kickoff on September 29.
