PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. – Freshman Keri Kenna scored a pair of goals and added an assist to lead the Wesley College women's soccer team to a 10-0 victory over Valley Forge Christian College on Tuesday afternoon.  The Wolverines improve to 3-1- overall while the Patriots fall to 0-4.

A native of Lake Grove, N.Y., Kenna scored the first two goals of the game off assists from Chelsi Biener (1g, 2a) and Megan DeFalco (1g, 2a), respectively, at 12:16 and 16:46.  Kenna then found Biener who put one past VFCC goalkeeper Amanda McGinness for the third goal of the game just over a minute later.

Wesley added four more goals by four different scorers: DeFalco, Brooke Cicale (1g, 2a), Kristen Griffith (1g, 1a), Natalie Trujillo (2g); before the half and went into intermission with a 7-0 lead.

Head Coach Ed Muntz pulled goalkeeper Samantha Brannigan at the half after she did not face a shot.  Chelsea Marriner replaced her in net and made one save over the final 45 minutes.

Karysa Pikoulas, Trujillo and Breonna Day scored goals in the second half as Cicale assisted on a pair to close out the day with Wesley holding a 32-1 shot advantage.

The Wolverines return to the pitch on Thursday, September 12, when they host local rival Washington College in a 7 pm start.
