Women’s Soccer Drops CAC Opener

FROSTBURG, Md. – Wesley College's women's soccer team dropped its Capital Athletic Conference opener at Frostburg St., 4-0, on Saturday afternoon.  The Wolverines now stand at 4-4-1 overall while the Bobcats improve to 4-5.

Making just her second career appearance in goal, Morgan Warrington made ten saves in 90 minutes of action, increasing her season-high by one.

Frostburg took the lead on a Wolverine own goal at 17:13 before adding another just over three minutes later on a rebound off he hands of Warrington.

Keri Kenna and Kerri Pagels both took two shots for Wesley with one on goal.

The Wolverines travel to St. Elizabeth on October 2 at 4 pm for their final on-conference game of the year.
