Women’s Soccer Falls at PSU-Harrisburg

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – A shorthanded Wesley College women's soccer team fell in Capital Athletic Conference action at Penn State Harrisburg, 4-0, on Wednesday night.  The Wolverines now stand at 4-11-1 on the year and 0-6 in the CAC while the Nittany Lions move to 7-9 and 1-5 in league play.

Chelsea Marriner got the start in goal for Wesley, who was outshot by a narrow, 11-8 margin, and made six saves in the loss. Karysa Pikoulas, Natalie Trujillo and Chelsi Biener all took two shots for the Wolverines.

Penn State's game-winner came at 3:37 as Danell Engle scored off a pass from Hannah Jorich.

Wesley hosts Christopher Newport on October 26 at 6 pm. The Wolverines will honor seniors Samantha Lyon, Rachel Kurtz and Samantha Barker in a pregame ceremony as the trio will make their final appearance at Scott D. Miller Stadium.
