DOVER, Del. – Wesley College women's soccer head coach Ed Muntz announced on Wednesday morning that sophomore Breonna Day has been named the Wolverines Most Outstanding Spring Player.

"Each year, the players vote for the Most Outstanding Spring Player, and I could not be more proud to announce that this year's recipient is Breonna Day," said Muntz. "Breonna has shown a great deal of commitment and confidence with her play and I look forward to watching her develop into a strong, passionate student-athlete."

A native of Baltimore, Md., Day appeared in 15 games for the Wolverines in her first collegiate season, tallying a goal and an assist for three points.

The Wolverines open the 2014 season on the road against Washington College on August 29 at 7 pm before hosting St. Elizabeth the following night at 7 o'clock.
