DANBURY, Conn. - For the second consecutive week, Wesley College Women's Soccer freshman Aleya Cummings was named ECAC South Region Rookie of the Week.
Cummings continues to dominate in every match she plays. The freshman attacker netted two goals in each of the Wolverines' contests this week, leading Wesley to a 2-0 win over Rosemont and a 3-0 victory against Lehman. Cummings registered the game-winning goals in both contests. On Saturday against Lehman the Freshman scored just 1:07 into the game and then bent a 25-yard free kick into the net in the second half. With 12 goals on the year, she currently leads the CAC and the nation in scoring.
The Dover native and the rest of the Wolverines will head into battle on Wednesday evening when they play host to Hood College at Drass Field.
