Moore, Salvadore pace Wesley to shutout win over Immaculata

IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Wesley College women's soccer team picked up their first win of the 2017 season on Wednesday with a 1-0 shutout victory on the road over the Immaculata Mighty Macs.

Janiah Moore scored the lone goal of the contest in the 16th minute when she broke away from the Mighty Mac goal and put the ball in the back in the net.

Krista Salvadore earned her first collegiate win in net for the Wolverines. Salvadore stopped 11 shots to pick up the clean sheet.

Aleya Cummings and Megan Shacklock each tallied two shots on target in the win.

The Wolverines (1-1) will be back in action on Saturday when they host the Rosemont Ravens at Drass Field at Scott Miller Stadium. The game will start at 7 p.m.
