FREDERICK, Md.  – The Wesley College women's soccer team dropped a non-conference decision, 4-1 on Wednesday to the Hood Blazers.

After a Hood goal in the 28th minute, Janiah Moore took a long shot over the keeper's hands to tie the ballgame at one.

However, Hood would respond with a goal before the halftime break and two more in the second half to take the victory.

Amanda Deputy made four stops in net for the Wolverines.

The Wolverines (3-4-1) will resume conference play on Saturday when they head to Newport News, Va. to take on the No. 7 ranked Christopher Newport Captains. The game will follow the men and will begin at approximately 2 p.m.
