DANBURY, Conn. – Wesley College junior forward Mackenzie Forsythe collected Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Month for October.
Forsythe went on a five-game scoring run in Atlantic East Conference play, where she scored two or more goals in four straight games. She scored a career-high four goals in a 4-4 tie against Immaculata on Oct. 17. Forsythe was also a two-time Atlantic East Offensive Player of the Week in October. She totaled 13 goals in October, two of which were game-winners during the month.
Forsythe led the Atlantic East in points (39) and goals (19). She also helped Wesley become the best scoring team in the conference, scoring 43 goals on the season.
It is the second time that a Wesley women's soccer player was named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Month after Emily Caldarelli picked up the award for September.
